Welcome to Samford Swing!  We're a college swing club specializing in Lindy Hop, Blues, East Coast, and Charleston.  Yes, we're associated with a Baptist school; yes, we dance like madmen! 

• We meet in Bashinsky Fieldhouse on Tuesday nights, starting the second week of each class semester.

• Series lessons now start at 8:15. (This means if you go to Shiloh beforehand, you can still get there just in time.) 

• FREE open dancing starts at 9:00 and goes as long as we want; generally we end around 11:00.

• Check our Events page for info about this month's lesson series and instructor.

• Membership cards are $15 dollars a semester.

• This gets you free access to all series lessons and half-price admission to every Samford Swing sponsored dance or workshop.

• Memberships are for students only, but we love city dancers dropping in to dance with us!

• Lessons for non-members are $5 per lesson, and of course the dancing at 9:00 is free.

Directions to Bashinsky:  Enter Samford's campus by the main entrance.  Turn left out of the parking lot and drive uphill past the football field on your left.  Take your first left into the parking lot beside the field and park your car there.  There is a large building at the top end of the football field called Bashinsky Fieldhouse; go in the main entrance and follow the directional signs!  You'll find us in a studio in the basement, down a kickin' spiral staircase.
